Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 7:00pm is the NFL's annual Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii. {Wouldn't I love to be there now} This game is the best NFC players versus the best AFC players. The Super Bowl is next weekend, so any guys playing in that game are surely not going to take the chance that they might get hurt playing in this game. Regular season rivalries are put aside (for the most part) and the guys are out there to have fun.
The players for the game are selected by fan votes on nfl.com earlier in the season. A few players I voted for made it, but most didn't. I won't lie to you - I picked most of the players simply because I think they seem like nice guys. Obviously this isn't how my husband votes, he votes for the best football players.
Here's a little fact I didn't know...the players on the winning team will get paid $45,000 and the players on the losing team will make $22,500. Apparently the winners don't just get bragging rights.
My vote is for the NFC to win.
